Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 23 September 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the London Garden Clearance website and the garden clearance and waste collection services we provide.

By requesting a quote, making a booking or using our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Our Services

London Garden Clearance provides garden clearance and garden waste removal services, which may include the collection and removal of materials such as:

  • Green garden waste
  • Branches and logs
  • Hedge and pruning waste
  • Soil
  • Rubble
  • Decking
  • Suitable timber
  • Other garden clearance materials agreed before collection

The materials we accept may depend on their type, condition, quantity, weight and applicable waste regulations.

2. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes are based on the information available to us at the time of assessment.

The final price may be affected by factors including:

  • Quantity and weight of waste
  • Type of materials
  • Collection location
  • Access to the waste
  • Distance between the collection area and vehicle
  • Stairs, narrow passages or other access restrictions
  • Additional labour or dismantling requirements

If the actual conditions or quantity of waste differ substantially from the information provided when the quote was prepared, the price may need to be reviewed before the work proceeds.

3. Booking

A booking is considered confirmed only when the relevant arrangements have been agreed with us.

Customers should provide accurate information about the collection address, waste materials, estimated quantity and access conditions.

If circumstances change before collection, please inform us as soon as possible.

4. Access to the Property

Customers are responsible for informing us about any access restrictions that could affect the collection.

This may include:

  • Stairs
  • Narrow gates or passages
  • Long carrying distances
  • Restricted vehicle access
  • Through-house access
  • Parking restrictions
  • Other obstacles

We will assess the access requirements and may adjust the quotation where additional time or labour is required.

5. Waste and Materials

Customers must accurately describe the materials they want removed.

Certain hazardous, prohibited or otherwise unsuitable materials may not be accepted.

Mixed construction waste or materials that require special handling should be declared before collection.

We reserve the right to refuse materials that cannot legally or safely be transported or disposed of.

6. Soil and Heavy Materials

Soil, rubble and other heavy materials may be priced differently from ordinary garden waste because of their weight and disposal requirements.

Where applicable, the price will be assessed according to the quantity, weight, access and labour involved.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Provide accurate booking information
  • Identify materials that require removal
  • Inform us about relevant access restrictions
  • Obtain any necessary permission to access the collection area
  • Ensure that valuable or personal items are removed from the waste before collection

We are not responsible for items accidentally included in waste that the customer has asked us to remove.

8. Cancellations and Changes

If you need to change or cancel a booking, please contact us as soon as possible.

Cancellation or rescheduling arrangements may depend on how much notice is provided and whether resources have already been allocated to the booking.

9. Damage and Access

We take reasonable care when carrying out collection work. However, customers should inform us of fragile surfaces, restricted access, underground features or other conditions that could create a risk during removal.

Where appropriate, we may decline work if the collection cannot be completed safely.

10. Website Content

We aim to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date. However, descriptions, prices and other information may change without notice.

Website content should not be treated as a guaranteed quotation or contractual promise unless expressly confirmed by us.
